Braver Angels Orientation

Are you interested in learning more about polarization and Braver Angels, what resources and opportunities Braver Angels has to offer, and/or ways to get involved?  You are invited to this Braver Angels Orientation to do just that with a 20-minute presentation followed by discussion and Q&A. 

Orientation meetings are every 3rd Thursday of the month at 5:30 PM.  If this time frame doesn’t work for you, please send the Alliance an email at tucson-az-alliance@braverangels.org and we’ll find a time that works.

Screening of the new film 9/11: Reclaiming Ground Zero

Lost in the celebrations of our nation’s 250th Anniversary - The 25th Anniversary of 9/11.

After the attacks, after the smoke was gone, after the rubble cleared away, New Yorkers had a city to rebuild. In response to fast-tracked redevelopment plans, more than 5,000 people gathered in the largest town hall in American history. They came to vote on the city’s six proposals for rebuilding Ground Zero. But instead, the people rejected the top-down approach and successfully charted a new path forward. Their work determined Ground Zero today. What happened was democracy.
